Race Timeline

  • 4:00 am:  Road Closures and Detours Begin
  • 5:15 am: Start Line Area Set Up Begins

  • 5:30 am- 7:00 am:  Late Registration and Packet Pick up open at Start Line on Olmeda Ave.  - None Runners can register up until 9am at the Sunken Gardens!

  • 6:15 am: National Anthem and Announcements  

  • 6:30 am: START - Marathon and Half Marathon

  • 7:15 am: National Anthem and Announcements

  • 7:30 am: START - 10k and 5k

  • 8:30 am -  Expo opens

  • 9:00 am - 0.0 None Run Start/Finish

  • 9:00 am- 2 pm: FREE Post Mileage Yoga with Arielle and FREE massage tent

  • 1:00 pm: Official course cut off

  • 1:30 Age group awards for Full and Half Marathons, Overall winner awards for Full, Half, 5K and 10K

  • 2pm Expo Closes


Packet Pickup

Packet Pick up is on Saturday from 10am-5pm at the Historic Printery Building: 6351 Olmeda Ave. Atascadero. Do not forget your ID! You will sign a waiver (after proving who you are) before receiving your swag bag. If you can’t make it to packet pick up, there is early check in on Sunday morning beginning at 5:30am till 7am. Please plan accordingly!

Late Registration

You can register at packet pick up the day before the race and on race day (Sunday Morning) between 5:30am and 7am. Online registration closes Friday night. 


Where to Park

Parking will be available at the Atascadero School District Office,  The Printery Building, The Academy Of Fine Arts, as well as on Traffic way, El Camino Real and a portion of W. Mall.  See the yellow markings on the map below for designated parking areas close to the start line. Parking is FREE.

This is where you can park close to the finish line, but honestly, the start and finish lines are just a block away from each other.  So you are getting close parking either way!

There are several hotels near the start line here in Atascadero. So you can get every minute of extra sleep you need because you won’t need to travel more than 10min to the start line.  You can go to the Visit Atascadero website for lodging information.
