Full Marathon

Course Description

Beginning in the heart of Atascadero, our fully decked out courses meander through the beautiful green countryside of the Central Coast with Aid Tents every 2-3 miles that include H2O, sports drinks, race fuel, and surprise entertainment! No need for transportation between start and finish lines on this out-and-back style course. It is an absolutely beautiful and challenging course that is a USATF sanctioned event.

Swag Bag & Race Perks

All participants will receive a swag bag that contains a Tent City Marathon running shirt, coupons for local goodies, and of course your race bib with RFID chip timing. Your bib will also serve as your ticket for your beer or cupcake. You can choose between a free beer or a free cupcake at any time after your race until 2pm. FREE race photos will be available online to all participants and FREE parking is offered for the day of the event. The other local VIP treats in your bag will allow you to spend the weekend being treated like royalty in our local shops, restaurants, and wineries.

Course Limitations

There is a 7 hour time limit for completion of the course to qualify as an official finisher. If you are unable to complete the course in that time, you will be picked up and driven to the Expo area. You must maintain a 16min per mile pace for the Full Marathon course to make it in that time frame. Associated Traffic Safety will be conducting “rolling re-openings” at the given cut off pace.

There are no refunds available for this event. You can transfer your registration to someone else in the event of a family emergency or health matter up to 30 days prior to the event. You must contact the Tent City Marathon team to make that transfer 30 days prior to the race. Transfers cannot be made after that time. We will be running rain or shine!
